If you build it, they will come...

As a grand finale to our tour de UK, we spent a day at Stonehenge and in Salisbury, the little town that serves as its port, if you will. We hit the jackpot in Salisbury, as it was market day and all the locals were out selling home and handmade specialties (in addition to all the tourist trinkets!) We bought a loaf of some fresh bread and a bit of cheese before catching our bus out to see Stonehenge. Although Stonehenge is a place we have seen many pictures of, nothing can replace the in person feeling you get when standing before this gigantic man made wonder. The beauty of the English countryside only adds to its splendor as the slight breeze, sunshine and chirping birds almost transport you to a place centuries ago. We were also able to mill around some ruins of a local ancient castle, as well as pop into the amazing Salisbury Cathedrial. Our time in the UK was fantab, but we are ready to move onto more exotic places, where English is not the first language spoken.

We made a friend on our way into Old Sarum Castle, located right outside Salisbury, England

Salisbury Catherdral, home of the tallest spire in all of England, and 4th tallest in all of Europe (Laura is a speck to the left of the front doors)

Now we have made it to Paris and are throughly enjoying our honeymoon in one of the most romantic places in the world. Make sure to check out our posting on Paris, and enjoy the pics, as always, there are more to come!

Kisses and hugs from Europe- Eric and Laura
